Greenhouse is a magical place where sustainability is the key. Using this fantastic concept they serve top notch tucker. One of the main features is sustainability-eliminating waste and recycling materials. One of my favourite elements is the ability to know exactly where all the food is sourced from (including dry products.) A must when dining at Greenhouse, is to venture upstairs and check out their veggie and herb patch.

THE “PEOPLES VERDICT”
Greenhouse has developed a great name for itself – located in the business district of Perth – the locals and foodies love it.
Vertical Wall of Plants
IT’S REVIEW TIME!
I was pretty devastated when I didn’t get the chance to checkout Greenhouses’ pop up restaurant in Sydney. I’m sure you would remember it – the container ship decorated with a vertical wall of plants – social media was booming with reviews. So when I had the opportunity to visit Perth (thanks to Eat Drink Blog conference) it was on my hit list. The food was delicious enough for Miss Piggy and myself to formally name our visit to greenhouse as “the breakfast of Champions”.
I choose the crepes with blood oranges which was delish! The crepes were thin with a crispy outer then balanced by the tang of the citrus. Thankfully the chefs didn’t drown the crepes in raw sugar, just enough to compliment the blood orange sauce.
Blood Orange Crepes
Mel, aka Miss Piggy went for the cured ocean trout. She described this dish to be extremely tasty and judging by her empty plate, I feel this description was perfect match.
Cured Ocean Trout
I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Perth.
