Welcome to my blog!
To those who are forced by law (that’s you Mum), or those who wish to find out what’s for dinner for the next week (hubby) thanks for being here. And to those readers who chose or just found themselves here thanks to the “I’m feeling lucky” google button, double welcome.
For those people who love cooking all the way down to their tippy toes this site is one for you. I’m hoping to provide a space where we can share our recipes and where we can offer new and improved versions of originals thought up by the cooking gods. If you would like to submit a recipe to be reviewed and shared you can email me at flickyourfood@hotmail.com or use the comments section.
For the millions of us who love to eat out, I’m also going to share my thoughts on restaurants that I’ve had the opportunity to visit. As much as I would love to be a squillionaire I need to say that I am in no way being paid or rewarded for my views on this blog, (unless stated at the bottom of the post). However I’m going to these restaurants because I love to eat and sometimes even the best of us couldn’t be bothered to cook.
So again welcome, and as promised, here is a dancing koala (enjoy!):

Hi,
Lovely to meet you. Your blog looks great! Look forward to sharing future posts
Love your review on the Stonegrill in Ulladulla – spot on! Here’s a tip from a local…next time you’re in Ulladulla, try the Ulladulla Oyster Bar in The Plaza. The best and freshest oysters and prawns anywhere. The tapas is great, and the House Red is the finest wine known to humanity – Devils Creek Merlot. Perfect summer atmosphere for a cruisey pre-dinner drink and nibble.
Hi. I acually did visit the oyster bar- took advantage of the happy hour and of course we got a plate of oysters. Look forward to visiting again at the end of the year.
Based on your reviews and some of the comments on your posts I’m thinking we may be from a similar area? I’m based in the Blue Mountains.
I am orginally a country gal- born and schooled in the greater west- orange/cowra. I now live in the fantastic inner west (Sydney). I do visit the blue mountains often though.
